Here's a quick little OOTD post I put together using my favorite gold and black bustier/crop top. Enjoy!

No white after labor day? Yeah right.
Hey loves! I know what you're thinking.. girl where have you been?! I know I said I was going to post more often, but this time I'm going to keep my promise haha.
Today I have a quick outfit of the day post for you guys. In honor of fashion week, I decided to dress up and roam the city for a bit. I was hoping that a street fashion photographer would stop me and ask to take a picture of my outfit, but that didn't work out very well :P Before I headed back home, I stopped by the CFDA & Barbie fashion lounge. (Excuse the low quality, these pics were taken on an iPhone)

Sporty Vibes
Hey everyone! I apologize for not posting as often, but school is right around the corner and I've been pretty busy making sure everything is settled for my Fall semester. The good news is that I have a lot of fun ideas for my next couple of posts, so make sure to follow Street Stride on Facebook or Instagram to stay updated!
As I mentioned earlier, school is right around the corner so today I decided to go with a sportier outfit. Now I'm not going to lie, I'm not the sportiest person, but I'm a big fan of the trend. Besides, who can resist a classic baseball tee?
Special thank you to Michelle Chriqui of MC Photography for these amazing shots! Feel free to check out more of her work at www.michellechriqui.com :)

Florals & Floppy Hats
Summer is quickly coming to an end and I'm not sure how I feel about it.
Last week's weather was cooler than usual. Now that the sun finally
decided to come back out and play, I've decided to take advantage of it
before it switches up again.. gotta love that bipolar NYC weather ;) For today's look, I opted for something both cute and comfy.
What I'm Wearing:
- Navy Floppy Hat - Forever 21
- Black Rose Bodycon Dress - Forever 21
- Black & Gold Flats - Charlotte Russe

Wednesdays We Wear.. BLACK
If there's one thing I've learned about fashion, it's that you could never go wrong wearing black and white! Overalls/dungarees are a big trend this Summer. Some people love them, others hate them. I personally think they're extremely cute, as long as they're styled well. I decided to pair my black overalls with a black and silver sequined tube top to dress it up a bit. As for my shoes of choice, I decided to go with my white low-top Converse.
What I'm Wearing:
- Overalls - Dr. Jays
- Black/Silver Tube Top - Morgan Joyce
- White Low Top Sneakers - Converse
Looking back at this outfit, it kind of remind me of an edgier version of Ariana Grande's outfit in her "Baby I" music video haha, what do you guys think?

Kawaiiland NYC 2014
Hey everyone! If you like Street Stride on facebook, then you probably already know what's about to go down ;) Last Friday, (July 25, 2014) was one of the best days of my life. Why, you ask? I was given the opportunity to model for THREE amazingly talented designers for the Kawaiiland fashion show at Stage 48. If you're not familiar with Kawaiiland, it is a traveling event promoting Japanese fashion and culture.
Kawaiiland has to be the BIGGEST show I've ever been a part of and I'm so grateful to have had this opportunity. Everyone I worked with and met there were cool and a lot of fun to be around. I had such an amazing time and hope to be back again next year! Check out this quick mini vlog I did with some behind the scenes footage here:

Those are the only photos I found from the show so far. There were plenty of photographers there, so I'll be on the look out for more photos. Once I find them, I'll update this post. I'll also make sure to let you all know via facebook that I've added some new content, so be on the look out for that. I also want to give a quick shoutout to my amazing makeup artist, Alegra Titus as well as the hairstylists at Misin Shin Salon for making us models look fabulous. As always, thank you all for reading. Hope you all have a lovely week!
